Meanwhile, the 16-year-old victim sustained a gunshot wound to the right armpit and was treated at Ascension Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in good condition before later being transferred to Stroger Hospital of Cook County along with the other two victims. As of late Sunday night, all three remained in critical condition at Stroger Hospital.
Police officers from the Chicago Police Department’s Grand Central Area arrived on the scene shortly after the shooting to begin their investigation. Officials confirmed that no one was in custody as of Sunday evening.
